so as i have previously posted about...i tend to think in 10 pound/one month increments. part of this obsession is to think "ok in one year i will weigh XXX and this will be different..."
i am in general not a big rainbow wearing lesbian. but today i really had a great time. it was a little muggy here in south florida, but not too bad. it was nice to see friends, dance to good music and watch my sweet little daughter watch her first drag show and give her first dollar to a drag queen during a performance. mama's girl is growing up....awwww.... you can kind of see this momentous moment in the cell phone picture to the left. the little hand with the money is the princess. we had to have a "talk" after the show when the drag queen took the mic and started talking in her real "man" voice. at first the princess felt deceived that the beautiful lady" was really a man... but after i explained that boys can dress up and wear wigs too she was ok and just wanted a smoothie. lol.on the band front i was great with my eating. probably could have drank more water...but the bathrooms at the park we nasty and i didn't want to have to keep using them. yuck-o.
Glad you had fun! Love the pic of the princess...DD hasn't yet asked why she some of our friends are "aunt and uncle" and some are "uncle and uncle" but she's only two...
ReplyDeleteI'll come take pics of you @ next year's parade!
Get working on that hot chick w/motorcycle!
ReplyDeleteI think drinking less water to avoid stinky bathrooms is totally understandable. Glad you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteHappy pride! I am jealous--ours isn't until June here in Michigan! Sounds like you had a blast and I can't wait to see pics of you on the back of a hot lady's bike! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet you will be there next year!
ReplyDeleteMy sister's niece was confused about "Aunt Kathy" and "Aunt Chris" both being girls. She was convinced that Aunt Chris must be a boy if she was married to Aunt Kathy (the fact that they were both "Aunt" didn't register at the time). They finally convinced her that Aunt Chris was, indeed, a girl because she had pink flowers on her underwear.
